ABOUT THE COURSE
A complete guide to becoming a confident waiter in one weekend. Learn basic waitering skills desired in every bar and restaurant all over the world.
Our online video course for beginner waiters contains basic information about waitering and working in the hospitality industry. The first section covers what kinds of tasks one can expect to encounter and how to succeed as a new employee, with a particular focus on customer interaction. The second section provides more detailed instruction regarding certain key practical skills such as polishing, serving, setting a table, and opening wine. The third section focuses on how relationships with other restaurant staff can affect one’s experience of work, particularly as it pertains to a newcomer’s potential for further employment. Some tips about constructing a resume and looking for a job are included in section four.
HOW DOES THE COURSE LOOK LIKE?
The course contains 24 lessons and 3 review tests. Lessons are 100% video. In addition to learning basic waiter skills such as cleaning glasses and cutlery, carrying plates, cups and trays, serving customers from entrance to exit, proper table setting, how to open and serve wine and other typical waiter skills, the course also teaches how to fit into a team, how to work well with the kitchen and managers, how to be properly prepared in terms of hygiene and mental attitude and what common mistakes beginners make to watch out for and how to avoid them. After completing the entire course and passing 3 tests, the student receives a name certificate for the course to present to the employer.

He has worked in Europe and Australia, in both management and general service positions behind the bar and on the floor.
